Spend the holiday weekend in Steamboat and ring in the new year with a
Fireworks Show and Light Up Snow Cat Parade. This unique experience involves Steamboat SnowSports Instructors performing synchronized skiing, illuminated by the light of torches! And at the end of the parade, fireworks will light up the sky over the resort for a spectacular finale.

Now celebrating its 40th year, the
Resolution Run is a family-friendly 5K starting and finishing at Edora Pool Ice Center. Everyone is welcome — kids, strollers, dogs, walkers, and runners — and if you finish under 20:24, you’ll earn a special prize! The race is held after sunset, so glow sticks are provided and everyone is encouraged to show off their bright clothes and lights. Dress to impress for this all-night party, featuring live music from The Burroughs, a nine-piece band with a powerhouse sound that never fails to electrify audiences across Colorado and beyond.
