Brandi Broadley: Fort Collins Inspired Disneyland’s Main Street USA + Historic Old Town Home with ADU
Groupie
Brandi Broadley met with our very own Larry Kendall, co-founder of The Group and creator of the
Ninja Selling system. The two walked through Old Town, discussing how this charming historic district
inspired the design of Disneyland’s Main Street U.S.A. They also talked about the benefits of Fort Collins’ power lines being buried underground, including both the aesthetic appeal and practicality of this cutting-edge decision. Fort Collins was one of the first cities in the country to bury their power lines!
Brandi then took us on a tour of
620 East Elizabeth Street, located just down the street in the heart of Old Town. Built in 1905, this beautiful historic five-bedroom home has been completely updated, including stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and other modern touches, but still features historic features like a stained glass front door, original trim and baseboards, exposed brick, and cozy fireplaces. The upstairs bathroom has been transformed into an oversized luxury wet room with custom cabinetry, and the main-floor primary bedroom offers access to the spacious backyard with mature trees. The detached guest suite above the garage provides endless opportunities for extra income or private guest space! Learn more about this stunning home

Barb Imes: Art in the Alley + Updated Midtown Fort Collins Home
Group agent
Barb Imes met with Hannah Baltz-Smith, Business Support Coordinator with
Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority (DDA). From the alleyways of Old Town Square, the heart of our creative district, the two talked about the colorful artwork adorning walls and transformer cabinets, all done by local artists. Not only do these installments beautify the streets and alleyways, they also help mitigate the possibility of tagging and graffiti, as taggers don’t typically tag other artists’ work. Barb also met up with local artist
Chris Bates, a native Fort Collins resident who plays a pivotal role in the local art scene. He has several projects on the horizon, including two more boxes and a large alleyway mural commissioned by the city.
Barb then took us inside
932 East Pickens Street in Midtown Fort Collins, just steps from both CSU and Old Town. This spacious five-bedroom home underwent a complete remodel, featuring high-quality finishes throughout. The main-floor primary suite features an infinity shower, a Norwegian Jotul wood-burning fireplace, two separate closets, and soaring ceilings. The kitchen flows to a cozy hearth room with a cast iron and stone wood fireplace, and a spacious living room. Upstairs, you’ll find three additional bedrooms and an upgraded ¾ bathroom. The finished basement features a large rec room, a flex room, a bedroom, and a luxury ¾ bathroom. The fenced backyard features a covered patio, a well-manicured lawn, low-maintenance landscaping, and a storage shed. Get more information about this property

Barb’s segment aired on September 17, 2023 and can be watched

Chris Paoli: E3 Chophouse + Bella Vista Estate
Chris Paoli of
The Paoli Group spoke with Jeff Laroche, friend and owner of
E3 Chophouse on Yampa Street in Steamboat Springs. They discussed this beloved steakhouse as well as the emergence of Steamboat as a foodie destination, and how E3 Chophouse was at the forefront of that revolution. Jeff shared a little bit about the fascinating story of the steakhouse and his family’s transition from baseball to the restaurant industry.
Chris then met with Abby Schissler, owner of
Bella Vista Estate. This one-of-a-kind property is perched on 7 acres overlooking the glorious Yampa Valley and Flat Top Mountains. It has three distinct structures containing a total of 14 bedrooms, 11 full bathrooms, and three half-bathrooms. In addition to exceptional views, residents and guests can enjoy abundant luxurious amenities, including a pool, a jacuzzi grotto, and a tennis court. The property is currently being used as a premier wedding, retreat and family reunion venue, but the possibilities are endless for the next owner. That’s right — Bella Vista Estate is on the market!
