Located within the Casita Park subdivision of the Baca Grande POA, this offering includes three lots, two of which are consolidated, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac. The parcel borders a stretch of public land that connects directly into a much larger tract of public open space, which in turn transitions into the community golf course, offering a rare sense of privacy with green, undeveloped land on one side and generous buffer distance from the nearest neighboring property. The site enjoys unobstructed views of the surrounding Sangre de Cristo range and the wide-open San Luis Valley, the kind that are increasingly hard to find as the area develops. Baca Grande POA covenants are known for their flexibility: mobile/manufactured homes are permitted, building codes are minimal, and alternative and off-grid-style construction methods (strawbale, earthship, cordwood, etc.) are allowed, giving owners significant latitude in design and building approach. Nearby are several natural hot springs, the Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve; skiing is approximately 1.5 hours away and it's 10 minutes to the town of Crestone, known for its restaurants, shops, spiritual retreat centers, and seasonal festivals.
